Thanks all, if its ok I'll use this thread for more pics rather than start an extra post.

First the bad points (and when I say bad, perhaps minor mishaps would be more apt).  Mabli gives almost no sign that she needs the bathroom.  We're taking her out when she wakes and after she's eaten but we've still had plenty of peeing and pooing in the house.  This morning we've had 2 of each outside though and I spotted her sniffing so went to take her out but she was too quick, so think its just time until we get more warning.

The good stuff - Bronwen is now playing properly and actually woke pup up by licking her and with more of a wagging tail than I get in a morning LOL.  I gave them both a new toy and Bronwen immediately wanted Mabli's (they were both the same toy) so they played tug of war.  Bronwen could have won easily straight away but was happy to just stand her ground and let pup tug.  She did make sure she won though haha.  Its lovely to watch their relationship develop.

We're making sure pup doesn't eat Bron's food and Bron gets let out of her crate first, plenty of fusses and Mabli gets crated for naps so Bronwen gets some quiet time with us.

I know its early days but the only issue I can see we may have in the future is Bronwen isn't fussed on food, some days she'll eat 2 meals as soon as they are put down, other days she won't eat breakfast until mid afternoon.  Mabli wolfs her food down the minute we give it her.  Currently we can put Bron's food out of Mabli's reach but will be far harder as Mabli grows.  If we're not careful we'll have unhappy Bronwen and fat Mabli!

Enough words, more pics/ videos:

Gideon wasn't fussed about food, but when Micah came along, Gid decided he had better get his far share , so he started eating better. We have always fed in crates, so no danger of stealing, but Giddy still hasn't missed a meal in a very long time.
Gotta love 'em.

I thought Mabli was bigger than Bronwen at a similar age - turns out she's a full kg bigger! So using the same tracker as I used for Bron that predicted an adult weight of about 16.5kg (she's 17kg) Mabli will potentially be 20kg plus (guess that's Daddy's Welsh Sheepdog genes!). We've seen both BC and Welsh Collie herding (BC's crouch, WC's tend to stand tall so they can see over uneven terrain and are more loose eyed herders)

Unlike Bronwen at that age Mabli has an off switch Big Grin

Really loving all the vids and photo's. Watching these interactions were for me a huge and most enjoyable time waster when Jasper came home to Max. "Oops an hour & 1/2 has passed and what have I done ? " Oh, watched the dog and pup !" They grow so quickly, enjoy ! Wow she really is a big girl compared to a BC pup but then Bronwen is on the more petite side. Can't wait till we get a little girl !

Everyone say's Bronwen is small but she's 17kg which I thought was quite big for a female BC and its all muscle, she's not go an ounce of fat on her. I keep meaning to measure her height and length but what's average for a female BC? I'm just intrigued as to whether she is on the small side but muscular or not.
