We're on our way

No earthly idea. The guy I got them from said that one of them looked like she could go at any time. They don't look any where near as pregnant as a goat looks. By that standard, they could still have a month or so to go. I'll just have to watch for signs of labor and keep reading up on sheep.
Gotta love 'em.

when you jump in you jump in the deep end lol,not only getting sheep but getting ready to have baby sheep Bouncing I have such a hard time thinking of sheep and farms in florida, every time we went to see my mom all we saw were beaches, boats and alligators.. Do you not have to worry about gators where you are?

I live in redneck central, so no, I don't have to worry about gators, foxes, bobcats, coyotes, watermoccasins, rattlesnakes. possum, raccoons, snapping turtles, etc. for long. All I have to do is mention that I'm having problems with some critter and the problem will solve itself, but I don't ask people what they are grilling for dinner.

I always heard that you couldn't have sheep in Florida, because they get liver flukes and die, then I ran into all kinds of people that do have sheep in Florida. They just use the right wormers. If you haven't been to any of the areas that have cattle ranches in Florida, that's why you haven't seen sheep. There are lots of goats here too, though I only have seven.

Yesterday was lesson number 4 for Micah and I. I am starting to every once in a while have one left and one right foot, instead of two left feet. Micah is learning the commands that go along with stockwork and is starting to use his brain instead of just running around excitedly, though when he get frustrated, he just runs up the middle and scatters them and tries to grab one. I have to learn to see just exactly where he is on the frustration curve, so I can defuse it before it gets past the manageable level. Now we have homework to work on.
Gotta love 'em.
