How do you stroke a Rhodesian Ridgeback?? Haha.
The other day I was walking Harvey and his Rhodesian Ridgeback friends (Tanka) came over to him and I stroked him but I was so confused! Do you stroke up the ridge? Or do you just pat him normally... either way he wasn't bothered, it just felt sooo... wrong!

Pet them normally Smile

!! I was curious as well, I went to my friends house who has 10 or so.. And she brushed them normally and then went the same direction as the ridge.. So i guess it really doesn't matter.

I hope one day i will be getting a Ridgeback. That won't be for sometime of course Smile

They are great dogs, but the couple I have met have been pretty energetic!

The one that plays with Harvey is totally insane! And doesn't realise how big he is! Just knocks him about the place, he accidently hurt harveys foot and he was limping Sad

she wasn't interested in Harv tho haha
