I don't know these kids personally but Sean Barrett lives in our town and his father was a school board member who voted to give me my job. Kyle went to MV but then moved to a nearby school. He still attended so many MV sporting events and cheered on our team more than some of our own students. Everyone knew who he was. He was so exhuberant you felt like you knew him. This just sickens me. What a terrible tragedy for these families and such a horrible loss. Can I please ask you to remember these kids and their families in your thoughts and prayers. And not drink and drive. But young people do dumb things and sometimes pay the ultimate price. Hopefully the other 3 make it.

It sure does. There are rumors of speeding but nothing has been confirmed at this point. I don't think it is right to gossip about such a horrible thing. Even if they were speeding pointig out their mistakes does not bring him back. I cannot imagine the guilt the poor boy who was driving will have to live with.

I can't imagine why no seatbelts. At fault or not, surving such tragedy is forever agonizing. My best thoughts for the families.
