just wondering??

Ok so we have a Pyrenees who now has learned to jump our fence 5 feet. At first we thought she was escaping through a hole but we caught her jumping.. I am just wondering if this is a Pyrenees trait..

Pyrenese are bred to gaurd large areas and it's very common for them to wander if they are kept in a small area. Small to them is anything under an acre or so. It's pretty common for a lot of gaurdian breeds. And really, five feet isn't a whole lot higher than a pyr anyway. They're big dogs!

We used to have a BC who ran up and over a 7ft fence with no difficulty....
