Yim first time herding

Yesterday it was Yims first time out with the sheep. (he have only met sheep one time before - and then we didn't herd "for real")
It went pretty good - my blue little boy

Very nice! He switches directions nicely, finds balance point, downs beautifully, and he walks so calmly! He's the complete package, beauty, brains, and work ability! Congrats on your first lesson!

Thank you very very much! Yim is my first sheepdog, so i don't know how to handle Yim sometimes. But you can't always be the best i guess. We will keep up the work.

Fury is my first herding dog as well, he is trying at times. He has gotten extremely keen, and Yim will get more keen as well, with his training and more pushy with me. We are going to practice tomorrow so I'll let you know how it goes. It's an amazing thing to watch them in the "zone" doing their job. Yim looks wonderful! You guys will do just fine, I think a lot of it is the relationship between dog and handler as well as relationship between dog,handler, and stock.
