What Food Do You Feed Your BorDer ColliEs?

I am just wondering what you guys feed your Collies, I have been doing some research and it seems that a lot of general dog food found at local marts can be as bad for your dog as McDonald's is for us Humans. So I have been looking around and trying samples and my going on 6 Months Pepper likes "Taste of The Wild" (the purple bag).

I feed Green Halo. It has done wonders for his skin and coat. He has some allergies and was constantly licking and biting because he was so itchy. Then he would get infected, be on an antibiotic and a steroid. I hated him living that way. I made the switch and his skin is clear and his coat is completely different. His coat is so beautiful now!

I've recently changed Fergus from James Wellbeloved (it was making him have very runny poos after a walk, so much so he'd come home covered in poo), changed him onto Arden Grange which intially worked wonders until we had to return two bags because they were mouldy when we opened them. He's now on ProPlan. Which touch wood is working wonders, i'm yet to see how it effects the quality of his coat but i'll start feeding fish oil if needed. His stomach is now in full working order and no 'bum baths' are required after walks! Much to my relief

i feed Purina One....and, just b/c of flack i've gotten from other forums/people, i will say right now that i have tried other "high quality" foods and have bad results (feeding almost/at least double the amount, coats looking like #@!% [other people noting, not just me], lots more poop or loose, etc).....so we stay w/ P.O. ....my thoughts on it are feed what works for you/your dogs

Enzo eats Kirkland right now. I have had him on others from Iams to Fromm he looked healthy (shiny coat easy to control weight etc) on all of them so we feed him kirkland. They are coming out with a grain free version of Kirkland (i think its already out in te states but not Canada) we will be switching him to that.

Holly has burns, she has 3 different flavours, chicken, fish and lamb, very happy with her coat and weight right know, and she likes it too thankfully, i did fed her naturediet because she is very fussy about dry food and use to just stop eating dry food all of a sudden, but then she started bringing naturediet back up, so switched her to burns, and i am hoping she will not refuse to eat this one, so far so good!.

Conan has raw meat, so chicken, heart,liver, beef, rabbit what ever really and sometimes tuna and sardines.

Keira is on James Wellbeloved, half and half wet and dry food at the moment, hoping to gradually move her over to just the dry stuff. She also has chicken for training, and a little cheese.
