STOLEN COLLIES & PUPPIES - Swadlincote, South Derbyshire
Two BORDER COLLIES, Tia & Skye have been STOLEN from their owner days before they were due to whelp, one has now had puppies, the other is due next week. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD and make sure no one buys these puppies. The puppies will be sold from Swadlincote, South Derbyshire - they will not be KC registered.

That's awful, I hope the mums and pups are returned safely, apologies if you've already thought of this, but also post on the D for dog discussion forums they've probably got a wider membership in the UK.

Is it me or am I missing something. The request posted here says not to buy from a named couple in an area known. This does not sound like a case of stolen puppies but of something else....hmmmm........

I know the owner of Tia and Skye. She's the owner of the Border Collie World forums. Which seem to be down at the moment.

It's a sad situation. I was just chatting with her the other day and she told me she'd come here and post pics of the puppies when they were born. She is a member here but hasn't been on in awhile. I just don't see how her parents could do something like that.

Thanks for posting that Brandon, it does help clear things up.

I do agree with TT, I'd try to have friends go get all the dogs. Hoping the parents will find out raising one litter, let alone two, is not a piece of cake and give her a call.
Prayers for the pups and bitches.

Yes thanks for posting that it does clarify the situation. You can choose your friends , you can't choose your family . Thank God I don't have family problems........
