My little baby is growing up!

Nitro is turning into such the perfect dog!

He can now jump into and out of the car and onto the couch! He's a lot taller than when we first got him and his potty training...he's almost perfect!

We bought one of those Potty Patch things to place on our bedroom balcony. Though he much prefers real grass, he goes out to use the bathroom during the night on the patch and during the day out the doggy door. We've been accident free for 4 days which is a long time in puppy days!

We're trying pineapple for the poop eating and I'm really hoping it helps. We also are in the process of switching from Science Diet to TOTW.

I'm training him from home right now as he is not old enough to attend puppy classes. He's learning sit, stay, and come at the moment. He's awesome at sit, learning stay, and a little stubborn when it comes to 'come'.

I am falling more and more in love with this breed as the days go by!

He is so cute glad things are going well. About those Potty Patch things, I keep getting emails about them. I am kinda surprised they work. How did you train him to use it? If you can train him to go on a little patch the rest should be easy!

Things are definitely well! Though the poop eating has yet to cease...he's very obvious about it. He brings it in in his mouth :S

Anyways, Potty Patch. We bought some of that "go here" training spray which contains something that encourages your dog to go where it is sprayed. That combined with us bringing him out there when he had an accident taught him to use it. It made taking him out at night a whole lot easier, and since he's not crated at night it gives him a chance to relieve himself. I'm actually really happy with it.

It does sound interesting. If they work that well I'd use em at hotel rooms (in the bathroom or balcony) so I don't have to carry Lance down 10 stories to go outside. He has a history of relieving himself as soon as he smells another dog in a hallway.

Haha he IS adorable and trust me, he knows it. When we correct his behavior he gives us this "aww come on mom I'm not doing anything" look that you can't help but smile at. He's quite the handsome little guy. I'm curious to see what he's doing to look like when he's older! It'll be interesting to see how our beagle reacts to him being bigger than her. Thanks for all the compliments!

Adorable little one you have there. They grow up so quickly it is amazing. They are a breed you fall in love with and you will be fascinated by. I don't think I could own another breed.

They do grow so fast, don't they!?! But they're so easy to fall in love with and truly amazing at what they pick up and learn so quickly
