Theme: Water Dogs!.

Post a photo of your dog having a swim, killing the sprinkler, keeping cool! The contest will be open from July 1st to August 1st when forum members will vote on the photos to determine the winner!

Rules:
- Photo must be of your own dog(s).
- You can only submit 1 photo. You are allowed to edit your post to change your submission anytime before the end of the contest.
- Must be a photo of a Border Collie or Border Collie Mix.
- No Photoshopping.

I will start the competition off with this one taken of lola's first swim. It was taken a few months ago.

This is the first day Manny was home with us. We were filling the pool for the dogs and didn't realize that Manny was going to try to do it for us - until he ran off with the hose!. Had to grab the camera and catch this! Two years later he leaves the hose alone unless we spray it at him but it was absolutely hilarious to watch!

I always wondered if Simon would do better with a lifevest. Darwin does fine with one and he 's top heavy so maybe.. Hope she gets the hang of it. Otherwise it'll just be your comedy hour

You should get him one and see , either way he'll be safe ! I'll see how she does tomorrow and see if i need 1. The water at our creek isn't too high so she won't need 1 there !

Haha, this is good timing for our first contribution to the photo contest; we took Anouk to the river for the first time last week. She was not impressed! Here she is getting her paws wet for the first time. Is it me, or does she look like those little toy puppies with oversized faces that were big at one point?

After this pic was taken she did get a lot further in and started splashing around though, we're confident that we can turn her into a waterbaby soon.
