Green is a good nurse

Woke up so sick this morning. Worst pain I remember in a long time. Green seemed to know. He stuck to me like glue. Fit himself into the tinest spot to lay in the chair with me. He was so calm and quiet all day. Lauren called my mom bcause she was worried. Green didn't even bark at her and she said he looked so sad. He is laying on my bed and brought me his toys. He is a good boy.

It started as a head cold and I was taking OTC medicine all last weekend and last week. Saturday I felt quite a bit better. Yesterday I could not hold my head up. I had such intense pain in my head and my stomach was killing me. I was doubled in the chair. Lauren was worried and called my mom who came down and called the Dr. Turns out it is a sinus infection with very much swelling ofthe sinuses. So antibiotic and steroid. I can at least lift my head today but not for too long.
I would be remiss if I didn't say thank god for Lauren. Yesterday she did all the laundry, wrapped all the Christmas gifts, went and ran all my Sunday errands, got the Christmas gifts ready for my class, fed my friend's cats (she is away), and baked a batch of cookies. I sure am a lucky mom.

Sorry but I am quite attached to Lauren. Not trying to sound braggy. Hope I don't. When I was diagnosed with my disease 6 years ago she really stepped up to the plate. She has been doi g more than her fair share since then trying to take care of me. I will be lost without her once she goes away to college! I will be here everyday whining and crying. Poor Green will be sick of me.

Thank you for the get well wishes and hugs everyone. I feel somewhat better today. Just well enough to worry about all the things I am not getting done for Christmas. My class has their holiday concert tomorrow night and Lauren has to cheer Wednesday so I have no idea when anything will get done! Lauren's gifts still need to be wrapped. That is top of my list.

I am feeling much better than yesterday. Made a grocery list, took a nap. Had some yogurt, took a nap. Washed a few dishes, took a nap. Made some eggs and ate and I am still awake! Back to the Dr tomorrow and sinus xray to be sure the swelling is coming down.
