Feeding
Well I am now on the thrid brand of dog food going from expensive to really expensive. I am eating dry bread while King Tor lifts up his nose to kibble that cost more than a leg of lamb. He is now on organic seems ok for now.(2days) Any ideas on raw diet I here alot of poeple talking about it and would like to know what you feed your dog. He is still a puppy.

RE: Feeding
don't feed him for a day, i know it sounds cruel, but that's what i had to do to get my dogs to eat on schedule. once he gets hungry enough, he'll eat - i guarantee it

Yes i would look at that link, also make sure you have a big enough feezer if it was me i would buy stuff when on sale and you would need a big freezer to do this, i don't fed Holly raw she has naturediet with some mixer on top and she doesn't need much of this because there is alot of meat in it.

It works with most dogs Wink - I sadly have 2 here that go against that rule!

I love the idea of raw feeding - but the logistics for me are an issue.

Zeff has been part raw fed (as has Tassle) but I have never been confident I can give them everything they need.

Good luck with your change over Smile There is loads of fab info out there.

The only mistakes my dogs make are the ones I've taught them!

RE: Feeding
Thanks Ibsee The frezar problem no space. I got to The problem I changed his bowl
I now use a frisbee seems like he does not like The stainless steel. Go figure.
Gave him his kibble in The frisbee and all goes down. In one sitting. I will do part raw. Due to space issues

You could try and plastic bowl instead, some dogs don't like metal bowls, because they move or because there tags hit the bowl and make a noise, or just because. Big Grin

i agree with braindead to a point. i would put food down for 30 minutes only. if he doesnt eat within that time take the food away. he should be hungry by the next feed.
