Dry paw pads
Can I use just regular lotion to smooth out Socks' paw pads? They're rough and they scratch me all the time. I don't want to smooth them too much, though.

RE: Dry paw pads
I use a bees wax product. Stay away from lotions with any fragrance.
Udder Cream works well also. Even chapstick will work well. Linda One Border Collie Is Never Enough |

RE: Dry paw pads
I agree with Linda, I would probably use Udderly Divine if you can get it there, its really hydrating and has no fragrance and it soaks in quickly
Ally & Enzo you get the dog you need, not the dog you want |

RE: Dry paw pads
Thanks you two. I'll try to look for Udder cream next time I'm at the shops!

RE: Dry paw pads
E45 cream as well, the vet told me that I could use that on Storm's tail & I've used it on paws as well.
