RE: Blue Buffalo
You buy these things in good faith and it's terrible that you may harm your pet in doing so. Linda that is a really interesting site.

RE: Blue Buffalo
I wish there was a better way to get the info out to the public. As it is you have to search for it and by the time yo find it well it could be too late.

RE: Blue Buffalo
I hope all owners spot this and switch foods, maybe the company will do something now they know.

I wouldn't be so sure Vicky..

“Everything that we have suggests that it’s not our food,” he says. “We have 30,000 bags of this stuff out there and literally a dozen animals that have a common symptom. On an incident rate, that doesn’t invite the conclusion that there’s something defective about the product.”

That doesn't lead me to believe they are fixing much of anything.. -sniffs- I smell another Menu Foods escapade...

Dogs come when their called.. Cats take a message and get back to you later!! - Unknown

Yeah. Cross-posting it on forums and websites is a good idea. I put it up on the main page of the website. Very scary stuff. I've only heard good things about Blue Buffalo until this.

RE: Blue Buffalo
This is all very inconclusive. I would just stay away from the chicken flavor, until all the facts come out. I have tried a variety of foods, and Blue Wilderness is a brand that I have seen a difference after just a few months of having my dog on it. Im not sure Im willing to give up faith on them yet.

I tend to agree. Having an all out boycott of all of their products may be a bit extreme.
However, I DO NOT agree with the dismissive nature of the company's response to the sickness of "literally a dozen animals with a common symptom". They also have another thing in common, the food they were eating! There is obvioiusly a problem with the formula that HAS to be addressed.

Blue Buffalo has announced a recall. Sounds like it is related to the article posted by Linda at the beginning of this thread.
