Any amazing or sweet Border Collie or other dog stories?

Hey everyone! I hope you're all okay.

I love hearing stories about what amazing things dogs have done, paticularly border collies, so let's share some. I have a two, one which was a BC and another.

I read this on a website somewhere: A couple took their BC on a walk in a field. There was a combine harvester working on the same field. Suddenly the collie jumps in front of the combine harvester and starts barking its head off. It turns out there was a toddler right in front of the machine, and obviously if the collie hadn't have been there it would have been tragic.

This next one is about a staffordshire bull terrier. A volunteer for the charity Dogs Trust was out walking the staffy in the snow, in a forest just behind the shelter. He suddenly collapsed unconscious. The dog ran back to the shelter and led other members of staff to their colleague where they were able to get him medical assistance.

Ooooh, and one I almost forgot: My grandad had a BC called Cindy, and in her younger days she was a sheepdog. One day out in the field she came across a fox which was tormenting the sheep. Cindy had a stand-off with the fox and backed it into a corner until my grandad came. She was a great dog. She's in this picture below:
